Breezy

My entry for Illustration Friday, this weeks theme was "breezy".
I had fun making this, and I hope everyone enjoys it!

(SINGS)
Let's go fly a kite up to the highest height!
Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring.
Up through the atmosphere.
Up where the air is clear.
Oh, let's goooo fly a kite!

I love to fly a kite, mainly because it brings back good memories.
There's a huge field within a short walking distance from my home.
So when I was a kid my mom & I would pack up a picnic basket
& a couple of kites.
We'd spend an hour or two having a blast.
Good times...

We had the same concept for this week's entry! (Yours is so much better though! haha!)

I had that same song in my head too! I got inspired by this Mary Poppins album album cover:

Great work, love your style!

Eric,
Thanks for the comment!
It's great to hear positive feedback from another artist who is so skilled.
I love how friendly and whimsical your illustrations are, very wonderful.

Laura,
great minds think alike.
I went to your blog,
and I really liked your entry as well!
What's really funny is that we both had the same song in our heads, haha.
Oh and on your blog you mention that there's no work.. I feel your pain.
Keep drawing though, never let the crummy economy hinder your creativity.
