Etsy

I'm going to try out Etsy and see if I can sell anything on there.
On the site I see that everyone loves birds and owls,
so that's my main focus to start.
It's simple and easy and a safe haven subject choice.

The prints will be on sale for dirt cheap, around 5 to 7 dollars.
I just want to get my artwork selling before I start on more expensive pieces.
I didn't realize it until this morning,
but the prints won't be up for sale until about week from now
(Changing banks right now).
That gives me more time to create more cards and get
all the works framed nicely.

If anyone is interested in any of the artwork posted up anywhere on this blog,
I'm willing to make a personalized copy to send your way.
All my artwork is a steal when it comes to pricing, so support!

Dabbling in watercolour

Normally watercolour is some middle aged mom
or an old woman trying to get creative.
Too often they only paint flowers,
houses and maybe the ocean.
I'm kind of being a jerk getting on peoples hobbies,
but for some reason it bothers me.

When done right watercolour is awesome,
and that's why I'm going to learn.
I'm in no way saying my sketches with
basic watercolour shading are done right.
Infact I just went ahead and painted a totoro sketch,
that's pretty geeky and unoriginal in itself.

Been watching a lot of Ghibli films while drawing, I can't help it.

I like the old woman though,
she looks like someone who would watercolour flowers.

What of that

I know I said no more sketches, but let's be honest... that's never going to happen.
Not when I'm working at home with thousands of pencils and markers beckoning.
